About MIS
Very Brief History
MIS was conceived in 2007 and we opened our doors and accepted our first students in January of 2008. It was 13 students!
We started in a large house in Nararo Road, in Suva and then moved to McGregor Road to accommodate our large numbers and then we moved again to Rewa Stret. All locations where within 1.5 Km of Suva’s CBD.
Independent but Ministry of Education Recognised
We are an independent secular school but we are nevertheless formally recognised by the Ministry of Education - see our footer below.
We truly are independent in that we receive no outside funding other than the fees that are charged to parents.
Staffing
We have about 10 teaching staff and one adminsitration staff member. We say ‘about’ because it depends on the year and at any one time we might be recruiting new staff members, or working with staffing where previous members are moving to somewhere else.
